Paper Submission

Author(s) may select one of these four options, as follows:

Option 1.    Author(s) will only deliver the POSTER presentation in the conference. 

Please submit an extended abstract 2-3 pages. Peer-reviewed extended abstract is needed. Extended abstract will be distributed at the conference.

Option 2.    Author(s) will only deliver the presentation in the conference. 

Please submit an extended abstract 2-3 pages. Peer-reviewed extended abstract is needed. Extended abstract will be distributed at the conference. 

Option 3.    Author(s) will deliver the presentation at the conference and want their paper to be published in the International Proceeding Conference. 

Please submit an extended abstract 2-3 pages. After extended abstract is accepted, author(s) submit the paper of 10 pages (maximum). Peer reviews are needed. If the paper is rejected, the paper will be published in the proceedings conference. The templates of the extended abstract and the full paper  are available in the submission menu.

Option 4. Author (s) will deliver the presentation at the conference and want their paper to be published in the International Journal of Sustainable Future for Human Security (J-SustaiN). 

Please submit an extended abstract 2-3 pages. After extended abstract is accepted, Author(s) submit paper 10-15 pages. Peer reviews are needed. If the paper is rejected, the paper will be published in the proceedings conference. The templates of the extended abstract and the International Journal of Sustainable Future for Human Security are available in the submission menu.

Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers including results, tables, figures and references.  All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical.

Articles submitted to the SUSTAIN 2015 Conference should meet this criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should follow the style of the Conference and are subject to both review and editing. 

 

Please submit Extended Abstract, Full Paper (Option 3 in .docm file) and Full Paper (Option 4) only through Electronic Submission System

  • To prepare your Extended Abstract, please follow the template.
  • To prepare your Full Paper for Option 3, please follow the SUSTAIN 2015 template.
    Authors must use this template for submitting their papers while strictly following the guidelines.
  • Please rename the file to be: PAPER ID_NAME OF AUTHOR, when submitting to Electronic Submission System.
  • To prepare your Full Paper for Option 4, please follow the J-SUSTAIN template.

Full-Lenght Manuscript

  • Full Paper for Option 3 is limited to 10 pages normally, including all figures, tables, and references. No more pages will be allowed.  
  • Full Paper for Option 4 is limited to 15 pages normally, including all figures, tables, and references. No more pages will be allowed.

 

Instructions to Authors for Word template in the Option 3

1. Locking of Copyright:
The copyright line is locked in the Procedia templates. The author may not edit the same and making it editable only PSMs. If there are any copyright changes required, you are requested to contact Journal Manager through Guest Editors. For editable the below mentioned steps must be followed:

Steps:

  • Click on copyright statement
  • Click on Properties in Developer tab
  • Remove the checks from Content control cannot be deleted and Contents cannot be edited under Locking and then Press ok

2. Comments added in the margin in Word master templates:
There are instances where author raising queries on what to do with key information lines such as “volume, page numbers”, “Conference title per issue” and “Copyright entity, year, copyright company Elsevier Ltd./B.V./Inc. and Organizer Name” in the copyright statement and for these concerns the comments have been inserted in the Word template to guide Author/JM about the information to be inserted by them in these fields.
Comments removal from Print: In Word 2007 and 2010 the comments present in a document get printed by default. If the authors do not want to get the comments appearing in print, the authors must remove the comments from the Word template before printing by changing the Print markup setting of word using the following steps:
Steps:

  • Click the File tab
  • Click Print
  • Under Settings, click the arrow next to Print All Pages
  • Click Print Markup to clear the check mark


Instructions to Authors pages to be excluded from Print:

  • Click the File tab
  • Click Print
  • Under Setting, Type page numbers and/or page ranges separated by commas counting from the start of the document or the section. For example, type 1, 3, 1-5    

3. PDF creation from Word master template:   
While creating PDF from Word template the below given step should be followed to avoid difference in trim size and margin of the Word template and the PDF created.

Steps in Word 2007 and 2010:

  • Click the File tab
  • Click Save As
  • Under Save as type, click the arrow next to PDF (*.pdf)
  • Click Save


In Word 2003 the PDF can be created by using “Convert to Adobe PDF” symbol in tool bar or the required paper size can be adjusted in the Adobe PDF settings given in the Properties tab on the Print option.


Submission Methods
You can follow the easy steps to submit your paper in SUSTAIN 2015.

  1. submit your Extended Abstract and Full Paper in Electronic Submission System(.docx)
  2. If you can't  upload using the ESS system, please submit the file to: secretariat@sustain-conference.com for temporary submission before you success submit to ESS system.

 

Best Paper Awards

One Excellent Paper will be selected from each oral session. The Certificate for Excellent Papers will be awarded in the Conference Closing Ceremony on November 18, 2015.
